Without the Way there is no going; without the Truth there is no knowing; without the Life there is no living...
We bow in humble submission to the will of God as this loving family has charged our staff to make known to all that their beloved: Mary Ealey, answered the master's call and exchanged time for eternity on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Reflections of Life
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
~ Revelation 21:4 (KJV)) ~
The journey of life for Mary O. Ealey, affectionately known as ‘Tweet,’ began on June 1, 1946, in Virginia, where she was born the beloved daughter of Mary Francis Jordan and Ashby Jordan.
Mary received her education at Brawley High School in Scotland, North Carolina. A woman of deep faith, she served faithfully as an usher at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia, sharing her warmth and dedication with all in her congregation until her health declined.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Mary owned and operated a healthcare service for over 40 years, caring for countless individuals and making a lasting impact through her compassion, commitment, and service to others.
Mary peacefully passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA, after a period of declining health. Although we are deeply saddened, we take comfort in knowing that God makes no mistakes and that her life was a blessing to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Sammual Ealey; her sisters, Beatrice Jordan, Stella Mae Jordan-Whittaker, and Stumpy Jordan; and her son, James Edward Jackson.
Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories her children: Michael Walden (Earlene) of Leesburg, GA; Theodore Walden of Albany, GA; Gladys Walden-Jones (Clarence) of Halifax, NC; Clifford Walden (Angela) of Dawson, GA; Katrina Sapp (the late Alvin) of Albany, GA; Kimbrel Jackson of South Carolina; Ladonna Brown (Ade) of Albany, GA; Kamesha Jackson (the late Charles Porter) of Albany, GA; Sammual Jackson of Albany, GA; and Mary Nail Jackson of Albany, GA.
She is also survived by a legacy of love that includes 37 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends, all of whom were blessed by her gentle spirit and loving heart.
Mary’s life was one of service, strength, and devotion to family. Her legacy of love, care, and faith will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
