We bow in humble submission to the will of God as this loving family has charged our staff to make known to all that their beloved: Mrs. Betty J. Grier, answered the master's call and exchanged time for eternity on Friday, November 14, 2025.
Mrs. Betty J. Grier was born July 23, 1949, in Dawson, Georgia to Willie “Bill” and Louise “Sudie” Lewis.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and joined Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church. In later years, she joined the First Albany Deliverance Cathedral.
Betty received her education in the Terrell County School System, Dawson, Georgia. Betty had a longtime career in Food Service via the Terrell County School System.
Betty made her transition to meet her Savior on November 14, 2025, at 76 years of age in Conyers, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lean Kelsey, Mary Lewis White, Shirley Lewis Wimberly, Eva Lewis Bates, and Juanita Lewis Anthony; and brothers, Rickey Lewis, Curtis Lewis, Tommy Lewis, and Horace Lewis, Sr.
Precious memories will always be cherished by her loving family, which includes her husband, Oscar Grier; sons, Isaiah Grier (Kim) of Plant City, FL, and Raynard Grier (Subrenia) of Albany GA; daughters, Consandia Grier-Little (Jerry) of Reddick, FL, and Belisa Stamper (Charzell) of Conyers,GA; grandchildren: Justin Grier, Indanesha Freeman (Shenard), Lativia Grier, Dominic Barnes, Alexandria Stamper-Hishida (Brandon), Ra’ahunte Grier, Jamare’a Grier, Angela Grier, Isaiah Grier Jr, Juan Grier, Tajah Grier, Jerriah Little, and Diaisha Bell; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Apostle Minnie Jones, Lucille Kendrick, Bernice Lewis, Katie Mae Bell, Darran Lewis, TJ Lewis (Murleece); Mujahid Salahud Din (Shirley); sisters-in-law, Mae Eva Grier of Dawson, GA, and Ola Grier of Albany, GA; uncle, Nathaniel Hodge; aunts, Ernestine Burkes, Lois Hodge, and Gloria Anderson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
